New priorities for 2008-09
As a result of a strategic planning exercise on
June 3rd, 2008 the South Queens Chamber of Commerce has committed to
focussing on several new priorities for the remainder of this
year. It is expected that working on these objectives will lay
a solid foundation for the future growth and purpose of the

Attract new
employers and assist the existing ones by providing leadership
to government and all partners involved in economic
development. Increase awareness of tourism potential and
promote tourism development projects. |

government and all partners involved in current business
events / issues. Assist and challenge decisions that need
business consultation. |

Become a key
organization that facilitates business learning that better
arms our members in areas of accounting, financial planning,
human relations, government and other topics of relevance to
the Chamber. |

Increase
membership by promoting the aims of our members and to
research tangible benefits that will provide our members with
direct cost savings attributable to doing
business. |
