Provincial Candidates Debate

Thursday, May 18, 2017
Astor Theatre, 5:00PM

The candidates running in the riding of Queens – Shelburne will be on stage at the Astor Theatre in Liverpool at 5pm on Thursday May 18 to take part in a candidates’ debate.

The confirmed participating candidates are, in alphabetical order:

John Davis, NDP Party

Kim Masland, Progressive Conservative

Vernon Oickle, Liberal

The South Queens Chamber of Commerce’s goal in hosting this debate is to provide people with the opportunity to hear the candidates speak on issues that are important to our community and our economy. We are looking forward to an interesting exchange of information and hope this will encourage people to participate in our democratic process by voting in the provincial election on May 30, 2017.

Doors open at the Astor Theatre on Main Street at 4:15 p.m. on May 18. There is no assigned seating. Audience members are asked not to bring signs, placards or buttons into the theatre.
