Yarmouth Maine Ferry – Chamber Urges Government to Reconsider Withdrawal of Funding for Ferry Service

In a letter sent to Percy Paris, Minister of Economic and Rural Development, the Chamber stresses the importance of the ferry service to Queens, and encourages government to reconsider its decision not to financial support the ferry service. Read our chamber to the Minister.

Titanic Exhibit at Queens County Museum

Hello everyone; I am excited to share some good news from the Queens County Museum. The Queens County Museum is pleased to announce the Titanic Remembered: Liverpool's connection to the great ship,exhibit is now open. Monday through Saturday 9 to 5. We are excited to share the story of two young Titanic survivors and their nearly two year stay in Liverpool. As part of the exhibit, we will have three handkerchiefs that were pulled from the debris field of the Titanic in 1912. Of course we will exhibit our mystery deck chair that was pulled from the North Atlantic in 1912 after the April 15th disaster. Is it a relic from the Titanic? Only the chair knows and it is not telling! The exhibit is open until September 1; Monday to Saturday 9 to 5. Watch for the Sunday exhibition hours for June, July and August - coming soon.
